So after serving as assistant manager at this KB Toy Outlet for nearly 18 months an open store manager position became available. I applied. I was passed over. This obviously doesn't sit well with me. I was passed over for a person who has been with the company for less than 6 months. This really doesn't sit well with me.

This has had one affect on me, besides furthering my bitterness and hatred of things in general. It has made me retire my passive job search and replace it with an active one. Passively searching for a job is fine if you're relatively happy with the current one. Looking out for easy positions that might be open, letting them come to you.

I am searching now, I am looking for them, I will find them. I have turned in four applications for four different management positions and have had two immediate interviews with good results.

I will find more. I will leave.
